At Coastal Bend Ranch Academy, an online school and homeschool facilitator helps guide families through their education journey by supporting students enrolled in online programs like Texas Sports Academy, Texas K-12, Brody Academy.

Our role is to take some of the pressure off family educators by helping manage schedules, provide structured learning time, and offer hands-on enrichment labs. This support gives parents less stress and more time back in their day while students gain opportunities to participate in interactive learning, meet friends, explore new subjects, and try exciting activities like ranch labs, animal care, horsemanship, and creative projects.

By blending online academics with real-world experiences and a supportive learning community, we help families create a balanced and successful homeschool experience.

At Coastal Bend Ranch Academy, our Horsemanship & Equine Studies Program gives homeschool students hands-on experience with horses and ranch life.

Students learn horse care, safety, grooming, tacking, and riding while exploring equine behavior, anatomy, nutrition, and stable management. Through small-group instruction, students build confidence, responsibility, and real-world horsemanship skills both in and out of the saddle.

The Coastal Bend Ranch Academy Aquatics Program teaches students essential life skills through structured swim instruction, water safety training, and aquatic fitness.

In South Texas—where beaches, bays, and pools are part of daily life—knowing how to swim is a critical safety skill every child should have.

Our program combines:

This program will serve academy students, homeschool families, and the Coastal Bend community.
 

At Coastal Bend Ranch Academy, our Animal Husbandry & Farm/Ranch Studies Program gives homeschool students hands-on experience caring for farm and ranch animals while learning the fundamentals of agriculture and responsible livestock management.

Students learn daily animal care such as feeding, watering, grooming, and maintaining safe environments, while exploring topics like animal behavior, nutrition, and basic livestock health. Through real ranch activities and teamwork, students build responsibility, confidence, and a strong work ethic.

This program connects classroom learning with real-life agricultural skills, helping students develop practical knowledge and respect for animals, land, and ranch life.

At Coastal Bend Ranch Academy, our Coastal Bend Nature & Environmental Studies Program introduces students to the unique ecosystems of South Texas through hands-on outdoor exploration.

Students learn about the connection between water, wildlife, and native plants while exploring local habitats such as wetlands, grasslands, and ranchland. Through guided activities, they study conservation, land stewardship, and the importance of water systems in the Coastal Bend.

This program builds environmental awareness, scientific curiosity, and a deeper respect for the land and wildlife that make our region unique.

At Coastal Bend Ranch Academy, our Arts & Crafts Creative Lab allows homeschool students to explore creativity through hands-on projects like painting, crafting, drawing, and simple woodworking.

Many projects are inspired by ranch life, agriculture, and nature in the Coastal Bend, helping students build creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence while creating meaningful artwork with their own hands.
