Coastal Bend Ranch Academy welcomes students ages 6–13, serving grades 1st through 8th in a structured, small-group, ranch-based learning environment. Our program is designed to support different age groups and learning stages through clearly defined daily learning blocks that provide developmentally appropriate instruction, activities, and engagement.

We operate three academic learning blocks per day, Monday - Friday. 

• Students ages 6–8 (1st–2nd grade) attend from 8:00–10:00 AM. 
• Students ages 8–10 (3rd–5th grade) attend from 10:30 AM–12:30 PM. 
• Students ages 11–13 (6th–8th grade) attend from 1:00–3:00 PM. 

After School Program: 

• Students ages 6–13 from 3:30–6:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Each block is limited to 20 students, with staffing that includes one lead teacher and one assistant teacher per group, ensuring a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio at all times. This low ratio allows for individualized instruction, strong supervision, and meaningful relationship-based learning.

Our staff are highly experienced, extensively trained, and bring strong educational backgrounds to their work. They are true educators who are passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting each child’s growth. The Coastal Bend Ranch Academy curriculum blends Texas-aligned academics with hands-on, experiential ranch learning. Our approach is designed for students who learn best by doing, moving, exploring, and applying knowledge in real-world settings.

Students receive instruction aligned with Texas educational standards in:

• Reading & literacy
• Writing & communication
• Math & problem solving
• Science & basic research skills
   

Lessons are taught in small groups, allowing instructors to adjust pacing, support individual needs, and reinforce concepts through practical application rather than worksheets alone.

Ranch life is intentionally integrated into daily learning and reinforces academic concepts through real experiences, including:

• Animal care & husbandry
• Equine studies and basic horsemanship
• Agriculture & environmental science
• Responsibility through daily chores and projects  

Students learn accountability, safety, and respect while developing confidence and independence.

Beyond academics, our curriculum emphasizes:

• Responsibility and work ethic
• Teamwork and communication
• Leadership and confidence
• Respect for animals, land, and others

These skills are reinforced daily through structured activities and real responsibilities.

Hands-on learning is a core part of our program. Students participate in:

• Nature-based science activities
• Outdoor projects and group problem-solving
• Physical movement built into the day
• Collaborative learning experiences  

This approach supports both mental and physical well-being while keeping students engaged.

Our tuition is a refection of care and educations based on high levels of attention, and quality hands on education provided at Coastal Bend Ranch Academy. We maintain a 5:1 student-to-teacher ratio, with a lead teacher and assistant in every group, allowing students to receive individualized support in a safe, well-supervised environment.

Tuition also supports the cost of operating a hands-on, ranch-based learning program, including animal care, facilities, supplies, insurance, and experienced staff. Students are actively engaged in structured learning, outdoor education, and real-world skill building—not simply supervised.

By keeping enrollment limited and class sizes small, we are able to provide a consistent, enriching experience that supports both academic growth and personal development. Our pricing allows us to maintain program quality while creating a positive, supportive environment for every child. Day / Week
